Extremely intense thunderstorms can develop very
quickly in the High Sierras. These frequently are accompanied
by high winds and heavy hail. This possesses
a clear and obvious threat to the birds, as they will
first fly from the basket into open space, and then
seek
shelter from the hail. This is an unacceptable risk to
the birds. A full refund will always be made if the birds
cannot be released due to concerns about their safety.
